Replace Your Old Ice and Heat Bags with New Durable Leakproof Ice Bags

When do you use ice and when do you use heat?

COLD THERAPY & PAIN RELIEF

For cold therapy, simply fill the ice bag 2/3 full with ice and secure the lid. If you can't ake ice, you can try this handy tip. Fill the ice bag ⅔ full with an alcohol solution. We recommend 1 part alcohol (methylated spirits is fine) and 2 parts water, then place it in the freezer. Due to the alcohol, it won't freeze solid and will perfectly mould around your injured area.

Due to the lower freezing temperature of alcohol, the ice pack will be extra cold, so place a thin layer between your skin and the ice bag to avoid an ice burn. You can then store the ice bag in the freezer for ongoing use.

WHEN TO USE HEAT THERAPY?

Heat therapy is best sutied to for chronic (ongoing) injuries, non-inflammatory pain or stiffness, such as from osteo arthritis, fibromyalgia, back or neck pain. Our BodyICE Recovery packs can also be used for soothing heat therapy. Just fill the ice bag 2/3 full with hot tap water, secure the lid and attach to the injured area with the neoprene straps.

After an acute injury, ice should be used to minimize pain and swelling for the first two to three days. After this period, heat can be used to increase blood flow and assist the natural healing process. Applying heat too early may cause additional swelling by increasing blood flow to the injury.

comfortable compression

Our high stretch neoprene supports are area specific which allows you to ice all areas of the body whilst achieving a comfortable level of compression. Just slip the ice bag through the hole in the neoprene support and position the ice bag over the area you are treating. Use the straps to secure in place. The Velcro adheres anywhere on the neoprene so that you can get a secure, custom fit.

Insulated leakproof ice bag

Our ice bags have an easy grip screw top lid and an extra wide opening (6cm) which means you'll be filling up your ice bag in no time! They can be filled with ice for cold therapy and hot tap water for heat therapy. The polyurethane (PU) fabric reduces condensation and allows our ice bags to stay cold (or warm) for longer periods of time without mess or leaving you soaked. We have sourced the best material possible to ensure our ice bags are water tight, durable and soft on the skin.

NO LEAKS. NO SLIPPING.

Our injury ice packs are designed to stay in place and deliver optimal cold therapy. Simple. They retain their temperature for over 2 hours (depending on the outside temperure) and give you the freedom to move around whilst icing. That means, you can ice your injury anywhere, anytime.
